"high wear" meaning that they'll probably wear faster than OEM.
don't sweat it. heim joints are a common maintenance item. you can
buy them from a lot of places, such as coleman and racer parts wholesale.
i don't know what comes in the kit, but "better" probably means
teflon-lined high alloy units. they'll last longer. they're not
that expensive, either.
i have a mustang that has teflon-lined heim joints for steering tie rod
ends. it's had them for a bunch of years and has been driven in rain
quite a bit. i wouldn't worry about having to replace the heim joints often,
but that depends on where you live and the kind of weather conditions the
car sees.
you can buy little booties that cover the heim joints to keep dirt out.
teflon-lined heim joints generally last longer, as they don't need to
be greased, and it's the grease that attracts dirt.
