If I recall correctly, the factory bar does have two raised "grove"
locator marks on it that match up with the factory OEM bushings, to
provide some right to left, left to right location assisstance.  The
subsitute bar and bushings that Hap supplies with the bigger bar don't
copy this particular feature of the factory OEM pieces.  That said, as
Dave Dawson has pointed out, careful alignment of the HRSB when
initially installed should avoid the issues you seem to have run into.
