This scares me. I have no idea how I'll find "better" replacement units. Is
this an off the shelf item? Or will I have to deinstall the bar and
reinstall the factory bar once the high wear items wear.

As Teddy pointed out... links of all types are an easy find. No, you won't
have to uninstall the bar. Once the car is jacked up, and the wheels off, it
couldn't take more than 30 minutes to replace the links.

Something is different between the factory (avant) bar and the HSRB. My HSRB
fouls my parking brake cables, hits the mounting bolts for the lower
suspension arm, and after an alignment, was fouling the springs until my
mechanic relocated the bar. It's a great product, but it has some shaking
out to be done...

Interesting... I couldn't speculate on your problem. I think I spent an
hour doing the complete install on my car. I tested the clearance by lowering
the weight onto the rear hubs after I was done... noticed the bar location
issue, shifted it over, and was done. I've had absolutely no clearance issues
ever... only the initial failing of the control arm link bracket, which I
subsequently replaced with stronger ones. Personally, I couldn't imagine an easier
suspension upgrade.
