[s-cars] RE: New or nearly-new car purchase

Maybe I'm wrong, but won't a WRX run circles around
a S4tt at the track?

M3 is too old, as is the NSX, for under $25k.
I'd get a Boxster, but the car is not really serviceable
without a lift.

Considerably smaller than an A-6, huh? Well a newer S-4 certainly fits
that bill. You can buy used M3s for around this price. A Trans
Am/Camaro would work as well if you don't care about all-weather
performance (goes for the M3 as well obviously). You might consider a
Subaru WRX-STi when they start coming available on the used market. I
don't know if you can get one this cheap but an Acura NSX might be a
nice treat, you might have to go back to a '96 to '98 for this price
range but you could probably find one with low miles. I guess that
would be my short-list for now. --Calvin
