The SC Mustang does sound like it's worth a look, although don't forget you
could buy the Camaro you talked about and for 3 grand put a supercharger on
it in one Saturday afternoon and kick the crap out of the Mustang.  Of
course I still say you could probably find a used 2000/2001 Vette for about
25k as well.

It's clear to me that we're not getting cars mixed up- I'm not talking
about the WRX STi, just the "regular" WRX. The B5 S4 and the WRX are
pretty
close in performance, at least on paper, wondering if they are truly
close
in terms of lap times at tracks and autox.

I wouldn't compare the STi to the S4, the STi will crush the S4 in
performance.

Looks like I'll be looking hard at slightly used Evos as well as
supercharged
Mustangs.
