Anyway, I should have added that, in the end, I had concluded that
Mihnea was likely correct and the moisture condenser was really not much
different than a good ol' Pep Boys plastic, inline fuel filter.  Your
comments about what you saw through the transparent plastic "film can"
housing confirm this suspicion.  This may answer why Audi doesn't stock
any.  Nothing to break or wear out.

I'm so happy you got your "Yeeehhaaa's" back.  Can't survive without
'em.
