[s-cars] another list lurker finally buys an urS4! and a Question...

Been lurking this list for about a year, finally got an S4! Here it is,
pardon the bit of rust - I hope to remedy that asap.

If anyone is curious, it is the MN car that was listed on the Cars.com for
$4500 neg. Despite hearing the R word, I went to get it anyway and it turned
out to be a pretty nice car!


Now to my question:
Bose system, everything works exept for the CD changer (which simply does
nothing at all). No funny noises, nothing seems to be getting exceptionally
hot, so I figure I'll try to just add a CD/MP3 player to the stock setup.
The unit I'll be adding is an Alpine 9813. I have found this product that
claims to solve some of my wiring issues:

Has anyone successfully adapted an aftermarket radio to the stock bose
setup? Any advice?
