Not a metallurgist so don't quote me, but galvanised steel can still rust. 
Its just more resistant than regular steel. Any cuts, scratch, scrapes etc 
can become dirt & moisture traps which can lead to rusting.

I have minor rusting on my s4 around where the mudflaps used to be. The 
mounting holes had rusted through. Do remember to check behind them once in 
a while & dig all that crap out.

Congrats on the S4!

Hey I thought these things weren't supposed to rust.  This is why we suffer 
the extra weight of galvanized steel.  What gives?  Improper repair at some 
point in time?
