[s-cars] Antenna mast GP anyone ?

Fellow s-people,

anyone ever replace just the mast off their antenna ?  (for those of you
WITH antennas...)  I need two !  I know it can be done and I've seen dealers
advertise them on e-bay but theres a high end audio guy in town and I was
going to see what his prices are and see if I can deal for two.  Anyone else
interested ?

Also, in the "are you on the list" department... Was passed by a "perect"
looking black CQ heading west on Rt2 yesterday around 6:00 just east of
devens, going at a nice clip.  Anyone on the list ?  That thing was MINT !

And in the "what a great idea" department... My wifes been renting an S70
Volvo the last few days. Hope I don't hurt any feelings on the list but I
wasn't very impressed. It did have one neat feature that I've since found
out is also standard equip on the new bimmahs and wondered if Audi also
offers. It's a kind of rain sensing intermitant system. You turn on the
intermitant and the system knows how much rain is hitting the windshield and
adjusts the sweep frequency accordingly. Really cool !  It would even only
sweep once to clear the windshield when passing on the highway to get rid of
the mist coming off the tires as you pass....

trying to decide on the wifes next vehilce. (it won't be a volvo) (She likes
the Merc 240, you can get a six speed and you can get all wheel drive (her
two requirements), you just CAN'T get them both together... 8-(   ???
