Excellent Joe. Thanks for the tip on exposing the wires; I would have missed that and connected them. That would shunt the Defi gauge and cause it read a big ZERO. Lotta good that would do.

What kind of voltage does the Defi gauge run? A half inch gap across the exposed wires would require at least 20MV to accurately read the JDM ions, provided they are 20 ppm at +2 positive.

I really need to know this, as it is supposed to be ten degrees cooler tomorrow, and I want to reduce the tramlining effect of my tires on a 1/2 mile long bad stretch of I405.

Otherwise, it will not be a good day.
