OK, while not a SNL skit, thought I'd share some Friday WGFV thoughts with
you.  

Background---   A bunch were over a few Fri's ago, and Mrs. Tomlinson
caravanned down a moochedAvantfull of moochedNEAswag.  He decided for us to
pop in one of NEA's Dahlbach WGFVs for sheeeets and giggles.  Dunno much of
anything about it, but what the hey, who cares, let's try cheap & easy
stuff.  It supposedly has some adaptive feature to it or something Rocket
Scientist like that (ask NASA Rossato I guess).

So, in it went then we took it out for a flog w/ me driving and 2 larger
beerguts tagging along.  Felt good, but different?  Dunno.  We figure it has
to 'learn' or something again scientific of sorts, and head back.  

Then Ray in his infinite Rayness (between fixing a bud's WRX belts outside
in the dark) decides we should hack out (literally...  don't ask, those who
witnessed at least got a giggle) the NASCAR throttle body restrictor plate
in my car (Hap, Mr. Negative Boost, et al, and others etc. have waxed about
this subject a bit in the past, check the archives).

Out for another rip, 2 different but similarly proportioned beerguts and
all.  Felt good, but different?  Dunno.  We figure I'm now 3 beers deep and
its best not to further determine.

ANYway...  2 weeks or so now later, finally some alone time sans Wife
(GForce Warden) and sans Tyler (Toddler Giggler enjoying the vrroooom
vrroooom)...  

Thoughts?  I tell you this much, man, the car hasn't run this well for
awhile.  Can't put my finger on it, the power is so smoothed out.  At first
I thought I lost a hair of low end, but that seems to have gone away.  The
MTM 1+ binaryness (the off / on punch of which I rather enjoy really) is
ironed out significantly and in a good way (retains the punch, just
different).  And bonus, I'm not getting as much ping yet this spring as I
was last year (also a function of the LWFW, my theory at least).

Problem is, which of the 2 tinkerings 'did it'?  Dunno, I sinned the
cardinal sin and didn't data log between mods (damn AC-22 sits dusty cause
I'm too lazy to bother clocking things).  All I know is it feels downright
good, ESPECIALLY on highway passing maneuvers.  Anyone local's always
welcome for a flog if they'd like to consider trying it themselves.  I think
NEA gets like $80 for the WGFV, I'll be working that part out w/ them next
month.

YMcan&willV but that's not my concern.
