Mr Darth puzzled
"I recently had my 95 S6 go battery go dead. I tried to jump the car
but got nothing. Then I replaced the battery and I am getting power to
everything but my starter won't turn. Where is the starter fuse or the
starter relay on these cars? Any help would be greatly appreciated."

Resisting the obvious darkside cheap shots, just because.
This sounds to me like it all could have been caused by the famous
ignition switch failure. If the perceived battery failure was sudden,
i.e. like you turn the ignition and nuttin happens, it's prolly the
ignition switch failure which can be rather easily fixed. The bad news
is that it most likely took out the starter in the classic manner too:(
Installing a new starter is fairly easy too. I believe the ignition
switch is $35 from the stealer and the starter is uhmmm I forget ..mmm
$150 with core trade in??
Call Rod at thepartsconnection.
I believe that there's a write up on the ignition switch replacement
somewhere too,, urS4.com or S-cars org or perhaps another lister can
point the way?
