Folks;
My passenger side window could no longer be brought back up to the closed position from the drivers side control pad. This is a function taken for granted until you do not have it anymore.
I bought a $20 switch from Blau but would recommend oem next time as they are better sealed inside and appear much better made. oem part# is 4A0 959 855 A 01C. The blau switch when installed though looks and feels exactly the same.
This is actually quite ez if all you have to do is replace a switch.
Slide a screw driver underneath the button pad from the rear and push forward. Then pull up the pad from the rear. EZ.
Pull out the whole button pad and disconnect the 5 switch connections (4 windows + kiddy lock out.)
Getting the bad switch out of the pad took about 30 minutes as it is very tight and I finally was able to push it out using a short side of a single edged razor blade on one side of the switch and a small screw driver on the other and then push from the top. Voila! Look at the new switch to see whatchagottado.
Assembly is reverse of removal;)
Wonder what the stealer would charge for that little procedure?
I also took off my whole door panel as the circlip, lock washer or whatever holds the window lift in place had fallen off and allowed the window to rattle if it was in the all the way down position.
This too is very EZ after doing it a few times.
There's a very nice "how to" on the Bose repair page.

Of course I got it all back together and then realized that I had forgotten the white piece of foam that allows wires but not air through behind the window switches, so had to do it again. This is normal for me though.
