[s-cars] Smoking Like a Pipe

Now you are scaring me as the engine has only about 3K miles on her and it was not smoking before the turbo failure. I only drive about 15 miles a day so really only have about 30 miles on the car since picking it up...I HOPE the smoke goes away. It seems to be subsiding. It only smokes once the car is warmed up and none at any other time. So I don't "think" I am burning any oil in the combustion chamber otherwise I think I would see smoke at all times and see the oil level go down. I see the most smoke after getting on my whopping 16 PSI of boost which gets up EGTs. Someone suggested that I further rinse out the exhaust with a degreaser and HOT Water.
Gentlemen..never have a total turbo failure..it sort of sucks ;-)
Thanks SJ

I snapped my k24 sport at Steamboat this past Feb Cody. After having my urq smoke up ski town square for a couple days, I flatbedded it down to Denver. After effecting repair, it took only a couple highway miles to relieve the smoke problem.
I suspect you might have another issue. Try a leakdown test.
