[s-cars] New Windshield....only $238????

I got a very large rock chip in my windshield the other day. According
to the glass shop (Safe Lite Auto Glass), I need a new windshield.

They quoted me $238 for a new windshield. This seems suspiciously low.
I asked them what brand it was and they said it was manufactured by
Safe Lite.  Hmmmm.  I've read that the OEM windshield runs $1000+.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with Safe Lite
windshields. They are a national brand, but I doubt their glass is on
par with the OEM or PPG stuff.  I have a $500 deductible, so $238
sounds pretty good, but I don't want to put crappy glass in my S6.

Thoughts?
