Safelite definitely does not manufacture their own windshields, they just
buy and rebadge them with their name. I would bet for that price its a
Chinese-made windshield. Definitely not up to spec with PPG or OEM glass. A
lot of optical distortion is generally found with the Chinese stuff. HTH.
