Yeah, agreed, however, dunno if 500 HP at the motor IS 11.5s and 125mph. 
Several people I know of (one in Sweden, one in Germany) have run 
consistent ~11.5 secs and 125-127 mph on a quarter mile, and they are only 
estimating their HP around "more than 400 at the crank" as both of them 
say.... how much exactly, we don't know, but that's what they say.

Screw the MAF? Why is that? These 2 guys are running Motronic and MAF. 
Speed density is lots more convenient on this sort of old motronic as we 
have on the S2/S4/S6/RS2, especially when you don't have room for a MAF 
anymore, but speed density is just a way of estimating the actual air mass, 
whereas MAF actually measures it. So I wouldn't consider the MAF an 
"inferior product" in any case...
