I have a seized thermostatic clutch on my 93 S4,
I am just eliminating that fan all together.

Should be good for 50 HP at the wheels, what do you think boys ?

Subject: [s-cars] fan clutch replacement

S-Heads,

I have to replace the fan clutch on the 94 S4...I did a search in the
archives on AW, but did not find the help I need.

Is there a write up procedure somewhere? I'm wondering if I'll need to
remove the front end of the car or if there's an easy solution...Will I need
special tools? I read something about a fan clutch holder tool...

For those who already did that replacement, any advice? It should take how
long to complete the job?

Best place to buy the part? In Canada if possible

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Richard.
