Thanks for posting this!  Man am I glad that I am not the only one getting 
less mpg's out there.  I was beginning tt think my car was "special" shall 
we say....

Data point.  '95 S6 with MTM 1+ and I get ~18mpg on a good day.  Granted 
this is mostly "city" driving or whatever the locals call the low speeds in 
RI....
