[s-cars] Wheel bearing

OK. I was a bit too hasty in my diagnosis, and I am still a bit perplexed by the actual problem. The noise appeared while I was driving. To me this ruled out the brake shield rubbing against the brake disc. How could a piece of metal bend itself mid-drive? I got under the car and sure enough that was the problem. I bent the shield back and voila no more noise. The shield was not loose at all so I still can not understand how it could suddenly just start rubbing? Ah well, all's well that ends well.

Looks like my front right wheel bearing bit it. Any BDTS on replacement? I plan to take the strut out go to a machine shop and have a new one pressed. It's squeeling pretty bad, do you think I could drive on it at least to pick up a new wheel bearing?
