One thing about these two batteries. The Optima is not a dry cell but a Gel battery. The Odyssey is a dry cell and is lighter than the Optima by a good margin. The Odyssey is a little higher tech but it does cost more. The best place to find the Odyssey batteries I have found is Ebaymotors believe it or not. MGH
