S-Heads,

Having recently done this, I'll say that it's a fantastic mod that's
easy and cheap (less than $2 a bulb).  However, I appreciate the color
choice of red that Audi has picked for the interior because red
doesn't make your eyes re-adjust to darkness, like the red in a dark
room for example.  Some guages are very distracting, but the red is
very easy on the eyes at night.  I didn't appreciate that fact until I
drove another car at night and saw what a distraction other colors
are!

BTW - My car is back on the road again, the fuel leak was a simple fix
- IF you have the right tools!  Thanks all for your tips, it's nice to
be rolling again!
