One can also use this guidance, if one liked to use other LED colors!

 Needed parts for the change:

6 diodes in (blue) with approx. 1800mcd
4 resistances with 490 ohms
2 resistances with 330 ohms
Wire for soldering on
Tin solder
Soldering iron
Hot sticking pistol
fine sandpaper
Revell model construction color shine-red ral 3026

The change step for step

Instrumentengehaeuse remove !

Remove afterwards the cover.

Subsequently, diminish the pointers and the foils take out.

The foils must be sanded off now, in order to remove the red color.

The red places on the front with shine-red THIN on the back paint.

The pointers have down a red film of varnish, which must be also
removed. Afterwards with shine red lackieren.["Weil the blue color
normal red in brown to shine leaves and sees one nothing there "]

It exists to take also the possibility SMD LED and these directly under
the pointers platzieren, that was to me however too much expenditure.

The LEDS

The light emitting diodes to the wires solder and on the correct
polarity respect. I have the resistance to the wire end soldered, there
am he not in such a way in the way like in front because of the LED.
The LEDS with the smaller resistances are for tank and temperature
indication, since these need a hoehrere light achievement!

Current supply

The supply for all lamps I on the plate to the connections of an
original TAC main header shining lamp soldered. All LEDS parallel to a
provisional current supply hang, in order to test the polarity and
illuminating the individual LED.

Adapt the LED
If all LEDS are wired, one can begin with the test. The Tachoscheiben
again inserts and the pointers not forgotten! Now one takes the LEDS
and puts her into the opening, which is intended for the lighting
lamps.

In order to receive an even illuminating, one must rumprobieren a
little in the opening, in which direction the LED radiates best (best
collude the room).

If one found the position, carefully with hot adhesive to fix!
One makes that with all LEDS and if one is content with illuminating,
one can fasten her also correctly much adhesive (I take hot adhesives,
because in an emergency again well away goes!)

Distance owner

Since by the attachment of the LED the plastic cover does not fit any
longer well and I did not want to omit it actually, I from pegs small
distance owners built, which I fixed then also with adhesive (however
one should put those over the screw and not as on the picture beside
it!).

It would be possible that the LEDS after the installation and
connection to the electrical system does not shine, then simply the
main power supply (wires at the plate...) turns.
