[s-cars] Faint Thump Noise!

Do you feel it in the steering wheel or the pedal?

My S6 used to have a progressively worse thump, turning into a
shudder on long braking (like on an offramp from a highway).
Nothing noted around town.

On my car, it was brake pad deposits building up on the rotors,
and a fresh set of System 3 rotors, Porsche calipers and pads did
the trick.

Seriously, if it's coming from the *front*, it's a common problem.
I'd call it a design defect.
