[s-cars] water injection

I was addressing only impeller erosion - my early experience water & fuel
injection involved cars without intercooling.

For maximum cooling it's always all about where you get the highest
temperature drop and therefore the highest heat transfer; water injection is
like another heat exchanger in series with the intercooler. Which has the
capacity to exchange more heat? Put that one first, then take what you get
with the second one. And if you do add water to the air first, some of it
will likely revert back to liquid as the charge cools in the intercooler.
