Yep, that anti-rust Mobil1 coating did a good job at getting rid of
the lower control arm bushing.  Luckily, I have a friend a little
crazier than me that did all polyurethane suspension bushings (noisy,
but stiffens the chassis up really nicely) and he gave me one of his
stock ones to get me through Watkins Glen this past Sunday.

As for the missed shift phenomena, I've never had a problem, must be
your driving, since you couldn't even keep the car from stalling and
baked my clutch pretty good, too.  Amateur.
