[s-cars] help with non-op seat control

Front/ rear Driver seat control on the S6A doesn't
work any more.  All other seat controls eg. up/down
etc. work fine just fore-aft, no motor whir.
I did search the archives with no luck, will read the
bentley CD tonight.  But wondering if any BTDT on
something like this.  I suspect either a servomotor is
dead or the cabling/ connection to it is shot.  
My puzzle is how to remove the seat with it moved
forward.  On my '91, you move the seat all the way
back to expose 2 bolts on the lower support rails. 
Once removed the seat tilts up and slides out of the
track.  Ur-S work the same?  Any ideas how to remove
the bolts without being able to slide the seat back?
