[s-cars] 80% sunroof reversal

Has anyone ever solved the 80% sunroof reversal problem?  Cleaning the
contacts on the knob fixed the random sunroof opening problem, but not the
reversal when closing when 80% of the way closed.  It now does it almost
every time if I don't help it along.

I'm guessing that what is happening is that when it catches the inner sun
shade to pull it out of the recess as the roof is closing, the additional
load is causing it to reverse (i.e. it thinks that the mechanism is jammed
or somebody's fingers are caught in there.)

Is there an adjustment for the sensitivity?

I have never had this happen when closing the sunroof using the auto-close
feature (key in door lock.)  I wonder if the auto-close feature overrides
the auto-reverse sensor... seems reasonable.  Besides, if you are outside
the car turning the key in the lock, then your fingers shouldn't be sticking
up through the sunroof!
