[s-cars] S-cars: 95 vs 95.5 vs 96 vs 97

Bob:  I just checked the Monster Survery results.  You are mostly
right.  The 95.5's seem to start at 121xxx.  However, according to the
data that was provided, the last 95's had SN VINs in the 89000 range.
Oddly enough, it looks like the factory took June off instead of the
normal July, i.e. there are May cars and July cars but no June cars.
During the same period the Canadian 96's were running TN numbers in the
38000 to 41000 range (at least for two 11/95 build date cars in the
Survey).  Dave F.

Yes, EDL is 95.5 and later only.  The 95.5s all had serial numbers in
the
121xxx range, which was somewhere past the end of regular '95
production,
i.e. probably 119xxx or 120xxx, and were all built between 7/1/95 and
12/31/95.  Had to be built in calendar year 1995 in order for them to be

legally called 95.5s.
