I did just the lenses a year or so ago. Love the cheap
upgrade. Clean up the reflector when installing lens.
There is a very distict low beam cutoff but it is
easily adjusted where you want it. High beam was a
major improvement. I also bought the plastic adhesive
film to protect the headlights. I highly recommend
that. My lenses still look brandy new. From sfesters,
I hear putting in the newer bulbs will really brighten
things up. I'm chasing other problems first

Hi all.

I am planning to get european lenses. While talking
to a supplier's
tech person I was told that just changing lenses on
stock headlights
will cause beams to be less focused. Any BTDTs on
the effect of
european lenses on low beams? Is it worthy to do it?

I am also interested to hear about effect of using
9012 bulbs. I saw
some good reports about 9011 in both low and high
beam but I don't
recall anyone reporting on 9012 in lows. Anyone from
the previous GP
put them in?

Thanks.
Konstantin.
