[s-cars] Exhaust dyno results...

So basically your saying....

No appreciable difference between having no exhaust, the stock exhaust, or a sport exhaust since they all flow more than the ability of the engine can output. Hmmm... this is all very odd... for as long as I've owned this S-car all I ever read was how opening up the exhaust will flow better and gain power as well as earlier onset of boost... didn't Corkey's book say this too? (not that I read it, but I'm sure it's been posted before...), I thought those cats factored at least some restriction...

Regardless if there is a gain or not, there is certainly a perception of gain, all that talk of butt dyno... that alone is worth it ;-), and for those that appreciate the sound of their engine a Strumong certainly makes a sweet sound, but I guess for those that want to remain stealth it's certainly good news.

I still find this hard to swallow...

Cheers. /Jamu.

P.S. So what about the RS2 manifold? is all that bunk too..

Ah... but where are the dyno results to prove this? Remember, a dual 2" is
capable of flowing up to 680hp. What would make anyone suspect that this is a
limiting factor in our 300-400hp cars?
