That is what I'm saying, based on actual dyno testing. Keep in mind,
the car
has never been tested with a Stromung... although I find it difficult to

fathom any gain over wide open.

Hmmm... this is all very odd... for as long as I've owned this S-car
all I
ever read

Then you may want to read the book. A graph can be found within the
book
that backs up this issue. Based on his graph, a dual 2" exhaust will
not limit
engines in our power output range... and a single 3" will provide only a

marginal improvement... if you find yourself making over 600hp, and just
can't seem
to wring any more power out of it.

After reading my posts, you can certainly appreciate the fact that I'm
not a
fan of the butt dyno...

, and for those that appreciate the sound of their engine a Strumong

Without question, I love the sounds that come from the guy's cars that
are so
equipped. I'd never argue that the stock exhaust is giving any clues as
to
what is happening under the hood ;-)

Well... me too. I have long been sceptical about any significant gains
resulting from going to a single 3 vs. a dual 2. But I would never have
guessed
the actual test results on a car run "uncorked." However, I can't argue
with
them either. Same car, same dyno, same day... Witnesses to boot. And
that's
what happened.
Take care,
Dave
