Ok - about at my wits end on this one. Finally, got the RSB on the car after delays with getting the RSB - then I got what was supposed to be the entire kit delivered to Autosportwerks to get it installed, brought the car in, and the kit didn't have a few dealer parts that are needed for install which I was never informed it needed until the attempted 1st install. ASW ordered the extra parts - took it back there for another day and got it installed. All was great with the RSB for about a day and then I notice a bad squawk/squeak from the rear of the car on every little bump I hit. After further inspectiion it appeared that the RSB was rubbing where it winds around the lower support for the left (drivers side) rear spring. It actually sits right against it and rubs w/ every little movement. Took it back to ASW for adjustment. They adjusted it and squawk/squeak went away for about 50-60 miles and now the noise is back. I shot the area where the RSB was rubbing on the spring support w/ some WD-40 which got rid of the noise for another day or so and the noise back again. The noise is incredibly annoying and loud. Anyone dealt with this?? I am going to see if ASW has any other ideas in mind but I though I would also check with the list. TIA. BTW - the handling is much improved w/ the RSB - thank god, but the noise is not worth it IMHO - if I can't get a fix - I would rather not have it on - the noise is that bad. Sorry folks but $590 for the kit (w/ missing dealer parts) + $150 labor + noise + brain damage has not been worth it to date.
