Naaah, Paul, I usually implement things right away, or they start collecting dust.

Incidentally, the Euro code HIDs are already installed into the white Ms. Piggy
and, baby, are they bright and blue! :) The 100w H1 halogen High Beam looks dim
and yellow in comparison.
I took some pix of a disassembled headlight on the bench with both beams on at the
same time as I was aligning them on a piece of a white cardboard duct-taped to the
garage door. I will post them on my, ahem, site, as soon as I get around to
scanning them.

They also don't have the regular Euro asymmetric pattern that we all know and like
from the Halogen era:
        /
       /
_____/

But the new, goofy one:
        ____
       /
_____/

They do have the internal lever for crossing the Channel, flipping which would
bring them to the US DOT spec flat cut-out with a dimple in the centre:

_____|-|_____

The UP-DOWN adjuster motors are already wired into the car and inserted into the
headlight housing in place of the stationary threaded support bar in the lower
inner corner. They have the same bayonet mounting. The only thing that is still
missing is the switch.

The switch that I bought is still in Germany:

Awaiting the shipping total from the seller.

Incidentally, I need to ask something. As I was installing the RH headlight into
the car at 03:47 (yeah, I looked at the clock) I was so tired that I broke off the
flimsy top outer mounting thingy. Is there any known way to epoxy it in or
something. Many, am I pissed at myself! I've told myself so many times not to ever
work on the car when tired. But I never learn, do I!
