When I bought the car it was equiped with the H404 and I upgraded to the
K104...BIG difference, I'm very please with my choise and I'll do it again!
The Hankook Ventus Hrii H405 are all season tires. You should use the K104
(A Y-rated, ultra-high performance tire developed with racing tire
technology. Triple-radius profile design, innovative tread and Silica
compounds provides superior precise control and responsiveness required for
performance under extreme driving conditions.)

Subject: [s-cars] Tire choices at 245/40/17
After having decided to go with the 245/40/17 size on the et 40 Hockenheim
Rs, I'm now trying to decide which tire brand to go with. I see that Hankook
sells a tire that size, (the Hankook Ventus Hrii H405) complete with a free
puncture warranty. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about
Hankook? This is tempting to me, since I live less than a mile from a
Hankook tirestore.
I'm thinking about getting them from Edge Racing, unless by some miracle the
local store has them and is close$ (not a chance). Here's the link to them:

hard.
