points well taken . . . there are always two ways to look at things 
depending on which shoes you are standing in.   I was frustrated and vented 
and hopefully this is all behind me on that "slippery slope" I have been 
sliding down ever since I picked up my 94 URS4 eight years ago w/ 42k miles 
on it.  I think I am done with the mods for now - the car is exactly how I 
want it :-)
94 S4, Lehmann Stage IV+, 223k miles, and still pulling upwards of 
26-27.5psig at full throttle - puts a smile on my face every time I hit the 
gas pedal.
