[s-cars] original chips

I drive 7 miles each way to work and that is probably > 60% of the miles. I
average about 21 mpg on a stock chip. When I used to drive 22 miles each
way it was up around 23 mpg. The thing that really kills short commutes is
the cold start twice a day where you have to go through the enriched
cold-running period.

I have MTM 1+ and drive city/highway at about a 50/50 mix, pretty much
always off and on throttle and I see between 19 and 22mpg all the time heavy
footed too. I think the MTM is programmed to run rich only at wide open
throttle, other than that it's pretty normal, I do not feel that changing
your chip will increase your mileage at all, it will only give you a sad
face and maybe even perhaps WORSE mileage.
