[s-cars] Avant tailgate central locking actuator

I've got a pretty serious vacuum leak in the tailgate actuator.  Mechanically the mechanism doesn't appear to be binding anywhere (that I can see), I just hear a the leak for up to thirty seconds after locking the car.  

So I attempted to get the interior trim off the rear tailgate.  The Bently appears inadequate here.  I can get the 4 screws removed and can even access the two "flaps" where the other two hidden screws are.  It's just aroung the latch handle that I can't seem to remove after taking out the two torx screws.  Since I can hear the leak coming from the rear tailgate, I need to trace the vacuum line and attempt to get at the actuator itself.

Any BTDT's out there?   Before I destroy anything?
