[s-cars] Expected Life of thermostat and/or MFTS

Thanks, Sean, Douglas, Fred and Bob.  It would seem that I should be
replacing my T-stat.  The previous one had lasted 4 years (or more) so I
figured the new one should do the same.  Seems odd.  Its not like there
are computer chips or anything similar inside.  Its mechanical for
heaven's sake.  Oh, well.  Its not much in the big picture.
