Bob;

Pull the MAF connector and take a close look at the contacts for
cleanliness. An application of the magical Stabilant 22 wouldn't hurt.
Sounds like something intermittent.
Pack your spare MAF on your trip :)

Hi Y'all,

Been getting the urS6 ready for a weekend trip to DC. Doing the usual
things. Slightly over due oil change/filter. Check tire pressures -
adjust same. Check fluids. That sort of stuff.

Started it up to back it out of the garage and the engine ran rough and the
CEL stayed on. Fired up VAG-COM and checked the codes. MAF signal too
low. Cleared the codes and fired her up again. CEL went out immediately
and stayed out. Engine ran smoothly and had normal power level (RS2).

I had been doing nothing under the hood since the oil change yesterday. It
ran fine after the oil change.

Aside from packing my spare MAF to take along on our trip what is
suggested? I guess what I'm asking is WTF???
