[s-cars] Off topic - Auto trans for 95 A6

In our experience, although it is unlikely that the auto trans itself could
be problematic, over the years and the number of cars we've had that have
had problems, a low percentage. many times trannies have been changed or
rebuilt only to find the same problem exists. We have found that the multi
function switch to be the culprit with this sort of behavior. mostly they
have gotten wet in the connector area, although the switches themselves have
also gone bad. it is worth a look since it's external from the tranny. most
of the later versions have the trans ecu inside the case, so that remains a
big job if that's the culprit. take a moment and chect the switch and it's
connector.
