[s-cars] tires... more fitment q's

Let me ask you guys a question about these tire sizes while we are at it.  I
recently got 17x8s with 225/45/17s on them.  If I went any wider I would
have the "low rider look," i.e. tires sticking out past the fender flares,
do you guys that run 245s and 255s just live with this, are you using 45mm
offsets, or what?  Just an observation.

Hello all knowing,

Sorry to open up the same can o' worms, but at least my question is a bit
more closed ended.  Has anyone run 255's on BBS RX 17x8 with 35mm offset?
If so what brand?  I am with stock suspension now, but the new skins would
be for post mod, prolly the H&R race setup.  Minor rubbing at full lock in
reverse (blah blah) is of little concern, just wondering if they fit the
wheels.
