I use a seperate helmet for track and bike. My Bell track helmet has a nomex lining and also has vents in front mouth area, which makes it a lot noisier. My Arai motorcycle helmet is quiet and comfy, and designed for motorcycling. With tighter track regulations for safety, you may find the SA helmets with Snell 2000 cert and newer may be the only ones accepted, in the future. 
 
PCA events now require harness belts to be no more than 10 yrs old also. Funny, if I use my stock belts, there is no age limit. There 30 yrs old now.
