[s-cars] Fuel pressure guage

Hello All,
 
 Finally getting to battle the hot start problem. 
 
Someone mentioned a permanently installed fuel pressure guage on or near the fuel rail? I would like to install one.
 
Where could it be installed? I'm looking at the flare fitting off the fire wall before the braded line to the rail as the easiest place to install it. There is also a rubber line with crimped ends near the filter. Would someone drill a hole into the rail and thread it for the guage?
 
I would appreciate you advice on the proper location.
 
Also will there be any residue or leaking where I'm loosing pressure if its not the fuel check valve under the fender?
