RE: [s-cars] AC ChirpsHi James;

The blower motor was about $170 from the dealer if I remember correctly. I
didn't pull the old one apart to look at the bearings - they could be
plastic. I'll check when I get a chance.

   How much did it cost you Fred? are these units servicable? I read on AW
they are plastic bearings... is that true?

  Hey guys,

  I have had to have two blower jobs done in two separate s-cars. Both at
  around 175K. How many miles did you have to go before you had one?

  Hi Bill;

  My blower does the same; it also chirped last winter when the ambient
  temperature was lower than 30 below. I have the fix in a box in the
  basement - a new blower. My previous blower went the same way.

  Time for a blowerectomy.

  Folks

  After running the AC for a bit, oddly enough only when accelerating or
  decelerating the blower has a loud chirping noise.

  I "think" it's related to water not draining from the blower area.

  I have never read of this issue in the hundred years+ I've been on this
  list.

  Is this the first instance?

  Would anyone know how would I clear this condenser drain?

  Or is it possible to lubricate the blower?

  Any thoughts much appreciated.

  TIA
