Brian,
First make sure you have the correct replacement switches... 95.5's differ
from prior years in that they have one touch 'up.'  IIRC this is a function
of the switch.  
Drivers side switches can be replaced without removing the door panel. Don't
ask me how I learned this.  Slide a wide thin blade / putty knife under the
switch panel from the rear and lift up.
FWIW I would always try to replace with oem switches as I think the cost
savings is marginal and made up for in quality. 
Sorry but I don't know an easy way to do the passenger side as; hey there's
a repair I've never done;)
