You guys can argue the intricacies...I'll be hitting the twisties at night
with my HIDs. :)
Seriously, being a big lighting upgrade fan (HID low-beam assist
auxiliaries, PIAA Pro 80XT 120W pencils, Hella dual 55W H3 work lights for
backup, etc), I just go with what looks good on the road, and these meet
that goal. For $185 and a 15 minute DIY install, just chuck 'em on ebay if
you don't like 'em!
But my unscientific opinion is that they are superior to E-codes with either
halogen or 9011/9012's.
