As far as the beam cut-off pattern goes on the DOT headlamps, it's
pretty simple to "adjust" them to the euro-spec pattern.

In the process of installing relays and 9011/9012 bulbs in my S4
headlamps earlier this week, I disassembled the headlamps and using a
cut-off wheel trimmed the cut-off shield to throw a euro-style beam
pattern with much improved lighting for reading signs and spotting
dear/moose on the side of the road.
