[s-cars] Rear suspension strange noise

Ivan,

Check the control arms on the right rear and left rear of your
car. It sounds like one/both of these are bad.

Here is my recent story:

I had a squeaking noise coming from the rear of my car when going
over bumps, and on some turns.

This coincided with a pull in the steering wheel that the
alignment shop couldn't fix.

Well when I switched to my snows I discovered that my right rear
"control arm" was worn out. The squeaking noise was evidently
the worn bushing. I opted to replace the LR and RR control arms,
which required an alignment.

Well guess what?? squeak is gone AND the car stears GREAT!!!
The tech tried to explain to me how the rear parts could effect
the steering but I still don't understand.
