Outstanding video on the Nordschleiffe -- watch the DTM-ish TT surge past DTM-ish Jaguar S type, who has an in-car camera, then the Jag follows the TT as best he can, with the help of traffic slowing down the TT.  They run the F1 course, then duck onto the 'green hell'.  About where the video ends on the final straight, on the right, is where the public toll entry to the Nord' is, btw.

and this is just a practice session!  I've driven a clean 10 min Nord' lap in a stock UrRS4 (by following 3 fast motorcycles who knew which way the blind crests went) and that was both quite daunting and one of the biggest thrills of my driving life... now if I imagine going as rapidly as the TT around the Nordschleife, at night, in race traffic, for 24hrs, perhaps in the rain... its in-con-ceeeivable! (to quote the short bald villain in 'princess bride'.)
